Happy Bloggiversary dear Andi! Already one year! I really enjoy visiing, as you know I hope ;-) The one yarn I would choose to knit with all my life would be Malabrigo Sock! I've used it only once. But thank God, this isn't reality ;-) I have so much to discover... This is why if I win (it's the first time I'm the first one entering a giveaway!) the Sanguine Gryphon sock yarn. If you drooled over it, I'll trust you! Finally, I prefer coffee! Thank you very much for this giveaway and I'm looking forward to continuing reading you!!!

Andrea

Happy blogiversary! Okay if I had to choose one yarn.....Cascade 220 I think. it has never let me down and has lots of colors (although I just finished a cardigan with elsebeth lavold silky wool and so far I love it-I'll have to see how it holds up). I have never knit with malabrigo so that is my pick and coffee all the way. Thanks again for all the lovely give away items!!

Happy Aniversary, I really love malabrigo rios. I would really like the oppurtunity to knit with madelinetosh but our lys does not have it yet. They have ordered and I am waiting. COFFEE all the way, after all I am from Washington. May you be Blessed! Thanks for the chance to be Blessed as well. Kelly D.

If I have to choose just one brand of yarn, then I would go with Knitpicks. They have a lot of choices in weights and types and colors, so I will never run out of choices.

I would prefer the Malabrigo yarn please.

Thanks for the giveaway!

Margaretha

Happy Anniversay and as I haven't had the pleasure of using these yarns I would love to try the Malabrigo as I just love the colours!
My Blog is Typstatting, Knitting Socks & Crochet.blogspot.com

Oh! Such beautiful yarns to give to a lucky winner! I love both, but to choose just one it's the Malabrigo. I'm a coffee drinker too!

Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary!
Please enter me in your give-a-way :')

Ruth

Happy anniversary my dear friend! I love the colour of the Malabrigo - a beautiful blue. Here's to another fun filled, yarny year with you! :) xxxx Oh BTW Tea for me!!

Allyson

Happy anniversary! Thanks for posting - I enjoy reading your blog.

Oh my goodness, they are beautiful, luscious yarns! The Malabrigo is calling to me. I'd have to choose that. Those colours! Swoon...

I'm not sure how to choose a yarn to knit or crochet with for the rest of my life. I haven't even begun to try out all the yarns I want to!! However...the merino sock yarn I'm knitting with now from Fibreweb is beautiful and soft, and she does gorgeous colourways. So I'll choose that for knitting.
But if I'm crocheting, I'll take my Milford cottons. Great colour range and cheap.
;) is it cheating to choose a yarn to knit with AND one to crochet with?!

And tea for me!

marilyn

I like blue yarn. any brand except cheap acrylic! I like the malabrigo because it is blue. If this statement qualifies for the giveaway...then may I enter? oh and I like tea and coffee equally.
:)x

Happy Anniversary, Andi! The first year is special indeed. I love stopping by to read about your weekends and to see what you've been knitting, cooking, and listening to. You're a breath of fresh air!

This is such a tough question:

If you were only allowed to knit or crochet with one brand of yarn for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

While I love Malabrigo, if I could only choose one brand, I'd have to choose Noro - I would be seriously sad if it ever went away!

The coffee/tea question is easy -- I love BOTH!

Katiebee

Happy Blogging Anniversary Andi! My, but you do ask a tough question....one yarn? only one? hmmmmm, sock yarn...any brand but the cheap plasticky stuff

tea for me!

Jacey

Tough question. I've really enjoyed knitting with Shibui Sock yarn, but I'm also loving the Madeline Tosh I'm using for a current sock project. And Malabrigo, well, it's definitely a favorite. I'm going to say Shibui, and for the contest, I'd like to enter for the Sanguine Gryphon yarn, because I've never tried it.

Thank you for the chance to win some beautiful yarn, and congratulations on your blogiversary! Woohoo!

HAPPY ANNIVERSAY/BLOGIVERSRY! Looking forward to following you for many more.
I love Malabrigo yarn and that color blue is exquisite! I also love the Sanguine Gryphon. Hmmm...to chose a favorite...Malabrigo and not just for the color. Sometimes when I am knitting with it I close my eyes and let it carry me away to a peaceful place.

Lesley

I've been enjoying your blog for a few months now... the title is what intrigued me most - My Sister's Knitter. It sounded familiar since my sister is forever asking me to knit things for her :) If I had to choose one yarn to knit with for the rest of my life it would be Malabrigo since I have loved it each time I have used it.
I love the owl cards so for the give-away I would chose the Sanguine Gryphon. My hot beverage preference is definitely coffee.

Aussie Maria

Happy Blogiversary!!!! My oh my what a giveaway. Which yarn, Malabrigo and blue is calling to me loudly, but I love green and I really need to get some sock yarn - flip a coin please ☺ Same goes for tea or coffee, I drink both depending on my mood ☺

My choice of yarn for life would have to be Bendigo Woollen Mills, Luxury, but all their yarns are great and they are always bringing new ones out - got to support Aussie farmers!!!

Congrats on Year 1!
I've recently discovered your blog and the citrus stripe socks may actually turn me to attempt sock knitting. ugh. did I write that really?

Favorite yarn at this point in time: Madelinetosh

If I'm lucky enough to win, I'd pick the Sanguine Gryphon sock.

allison

happy year of blogging! i recently found your blog and am glad i did! only one yarn for the rest of my life? i think i haven't found it yet. i really want to try madelinetosh and quince & co.

i'm new to knitting and am taking a sock knitting class right now, so i'd love to try the sanguine gryphon sock. thanks!

Kimmy M

Happy year of blogging :) I would choose knit picks yarn - lots of variety for a crocheter. I would prefer the malabrigo worsted. Annnnd I love coffee <3

robin

Congrats on one year of blogging! I'd have to say Malabrigo. Thanks for the giveaway chance - love those colors! :)

Louise

Happy Blogiversary!! Knitted my first socks recently on some local wool, so would looooveeee to try Malabrigo to see what everyone is raving about!!.
As for tea and coffee; coffee in the morning and tea in the evening. Problem solved!!

Marianne

Happy Blogiversary!

Great Northern Yarns 70% mink/ 30% cashmere which is exactly as luxurious as it sounds. Love coffee!

Jenna Z

I am no yarn snob, if I had to choose one yarn it would be Caron simply soft. I enjoy working with, it's cheap, comes in unpteen different colors, is acrylic so I can make gifts for everyone EVEN people with allergies and it's soft and washes fairly well!

Mary Leifel

Happy Anniversary! I really enjoy reading your blog.
Choose just one? Yikes! I've recently discovered Lorna Laces but Malabrigo wins by a Lace width. I currently have a ballet cardigan in Malabrigo on hold while I await measurements from the recipient and I'm itching to get back to it. (Note to self-bug them tomorrow.)

What to chose if perchance to win? The Sanguine because I'll be going to SS11 and I need to add to my sock wardrobe!
I'm drinking tea right now, but would prefer it to be coffee!

Kitten With A Whiplash

Congratulations on your blogiversary!

Top Ten Reasons why this question is so tough to answer:
1. Over the last 40 years I'v loved working with so many fabulous yarns, how could I choose 1?
2. So many of those are no longer available, should they still be an option?
3. There are so many beautiful and fascination yarns and fibers I've never worked with, what if it's one of them?

I'll stop now, and choose Patons. They have several nice fibers and blends, adn I do love the SWS yarn. I'd prefer some tea with my Malabrigo, since you were so kind as to ask.

Raymonde

Happy first anniversary Andi!!!

If I had to choose only one brand of yarn to knit with for the rest of my life, I would be a very unhappy camper... but since this is just for fun, I'll go with Manos Del Uruguay. Their yarns are beautiful and a joy to knit!

I love the Malabrigo (that color makes me swoon) and I've never been able to learn to like coffee but I love tea! :-)
