I did take myself over to Ruth's little shop and am so glad I did. Still looking and each time I come here...I wish you lived next door coz then I could MAKE you knit me a shawl that would be just right for the yarn...MAKE you!!!xxxxx Andi, you send us to the most wonderful places ever...that last stop this week made my knees buckle. That shawl is to die for...and I do see the light at the end of the bumps and lumps...and what lovely bumps they are!!!
Aren't you glad I didn't tell the end of the HP movie...have a great time watching them all...don't think I could, but then I only just saw that other phenom...???? Twilight...what is with that girl and her non existant emotions...what a wimp!!! :p

These new socks will be beautiful! That new yarn is definitely pretty and so is Ruth blog! I now have 4 new blogs on my blogroll ;-) If I didn't read that many blogs, I would be knitting a lot more! But it's good inspiration ;-) Have a great weekend!

Those yarns look...awesome. Stop tempting me!

I'm super pleased with the yarn and how it looks - it's made my day a million times over and it has made you happy so again I am happy.

As I said to M if you have ANY problems then you let me know cos I want happy, happy, HAPPY customers!

The shawl is coming along nicely - a lot of work done there, esp with the amount of stitches you've got on those needles!

I've recently started working at a yarn shop and honestly, every day I'm there I'm tempted. I don't know if I could go on a yarn diet. I'm impressed you lasted as long as you did.

Thanks for the reminder - I love Rose Beck's shawls as well! Now that I'm on an accessory kick I need to find a good stash yarn for one of her designs...

ps - that yarn and those socks look delicious.

How could you not buy the sock yarn????

Oooh, Andi, what gorgeous colors! Those socks will be beautiful!

There's nothing wrong with treating ourselves with some yarn goodness especially when that little treat is made by a friend and/or supports a small business. The socks are fabulous. And thanks for the video link ... I needed that today. xo

Bungalow 312

Yes, yes, yes! Way too many temptations. Right now, I can't stop looking at hats, and Purl Soho's Big Herringbone Cowl is beckoning. I have a Guernsey Wrap by Jared Flood on the needles, and I want to frog it and use the yarn for the cowl!

love those colors! can't wait to see your shawl~

Those colors are beautiful!! So many lovely projects to drool at over here :). Loved the video. Hope your week is lovely.

Just a Thought

  • “You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them...In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night...You - only you - will have stars that can laugh.” ― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
