Those are lovely colours that you've chosen. It's going to be gorgeous!

Kepanie

Oh these colors are pretty! I cN't wait to see you get further along in this project.

Audry

Relearning to enjoy knitting is a perfect goal. I might have to steal that goal for next year. Still have a few deadlines this year.

Your Leaves of Grass is going to be glorious. Those colors look wonderful.

Amy

I'm not a shawl knitter but I've never heard of a shawl starting like that - this will be interesting to watch take shape. Your color palette is beautiful too. I hope you are able to enjoy the journey - I know what you mean about bulldozing. While it can be exhilarating, it takes its toll.

DonaKnits

The color combination is beautiful Andi!
I too planned to take my time and enjoy my knitting more "calmly" :)
Happy New Knitting Year!

Lovely colors! I need to learn to appreciate the process (more) too! I loved Jared's Girasole so much I knit it twice... but this one's very pretty as well.. :P

evelyn

Perfect yarn for a lovely project. Enjoy the process....

Kimberlyn Fauson

I love the colors you've chosen. Very springy. I'll be interested to hear what you think of the Palette!

Monica

That is a great goal...enjoy the process now; you will have a future to enjoy the product. Have a great weekend my friend!

Heather

When Lori first made this shawl, I loved it. I even have the same LB yarn here for one. I think it is time to caston. I am eager to see how yours develops.

Happy New Year! Enjoy your knitting without a deadline! I felt instantly relieved once I finished my Christmas knitting. Your shawl is going to be beautiful. The colors you chose look so good together (you must have a great stash!).

Pumpkin

I just don't see you as the "knit without enjoying it" kind of person. But I'm sure it couldn't hurt to be more focused on the process, I use knitting as a way of practicing mindfulness. The shawl is going to be very pretty, it looks like just the thing to cuddle up in on a cool night.

Lisa

Very pretty indeed, such deep rich colors. That should be one of my goals too really, as I have such a bad habit of just wanting to finish the project. I just finished a vest in 2 weeks and I don't really think I took the time to savor it.

Lolly

ooooh I love those colors a lot!

lori

i can hardly wait to see how it's coming, but i am going slowly too, no rush. i love knitting this pattern!

jody

i love those colors! it's going to make such a beautiful progression. i can't wait to watch as your shawl takes shape.

and way to go on digging out all that deep stash!

Jesse

Gorgeous!! I love Palette and your colors are so perfect. I'm off to look up this pattern now :)

Bethany

What lovely Christmas gifts. And the pink for that wrap is a delightful choice. Knitting with your favorite hues is always a smart decision.

I was thinking about joining in too ... but I just don't think I have the time to commit ... I would get so left behind I fear! Have fun :D

angela

Looks beautiful, and that edging is a dream. Great colors together. Let us see the finished project. Have a great Sunday!
