It is common knowledge that all yarn is not created equal. Thank goodness! As a yarn addict, I must admit there are not too many yarns that I do not like. With the exception of Red Heart. Nothing really against it, but I have blankets that a step-grandmother made for me and it will never need to be blocked. I think the blanket could stand on its own. That is some seriously strong yarn! I do not consider myself a yarn snob, but it is a bit itchy for me.
This year I have been trying to branch out and try new yarns. If you've read my blog, then you know if I could knit with Malabrigo for the rest of my life I would be fine. Yet as I am learning to knit new things, I am also being introduced to new yarns. One yarn in particular surprised me.
The price is unbelievable. The color choices fantastic. The quality is perfect. i love the socks I knit with this yarn as much as the ones I have knit with $28 sock yarns!
There are so many more yarns I want to try this year. That means as much as I adore KnitPicks Palette, I cannot buy every colors they have, as much as I want to. (sigh)
