My favorite day of the week. This Saturday finds me enjoying a cup of Joe, working on some socks, and cruising blogland. First stop on my cruise, almost always is Twisted Knitter. She is one of the first blogs I added to my sidebar. The twisted goddess is having a give-away this week, some great Knitpicks lace yarn. So check her out because even if you don't win you will be able to at least be inspired. I could honestly spend all day reading her interesting posts and mentally casting on all of her projects. I bet she is a real hoot in person, I have been thinking of asking her to join our Knotty Knitting Girls group.(a girl can dream)
Speaking of the little devils...I am thankful that my Saturday does not find me slumming on the couch with a serious case of "ughs" since my knotty knitting girls met last night for some fiber fun and lots of alcoholic beverages! As usual we ended up knitting a few rows and spending the rest of the time working on some serious belly laughs. Here is an example of what started last night's laughs.
I swear that beer weighs more than she does. When D'Arcy would take a drink her face would disappear, this caused a "fun-poking" game of peek-a- boo with our knits. Here is Cindy and Emily playing their part.
My knotty knitting girls are always good for making sure that life is never dull. They are all so brilliant.
Okay back to my Saturday plans. We have covered Blogland, now we move on to the socks. If you remember earlier I mentioned that I finished my mom's Tidal Wave socks and that I needed to add more to my WIPs because...well because I have a problem. The newest member of the WIP family is Movie Socks
These socks allowed me to learn to knit bobbles, can't really say that I am in love, but I think we can continue to see each other. I am using Shibuiknits sock yarn in a Periwinkle. Love Shibui's colors, but then again I haven't met too many sock yarns I haven't love. Well, maybe I have but I am way too classy to mention them. :)
I am going to continue on with my Saturday and fiinish enjoying my Joe (Dunkin Donuts brand).
Hope this Saturday finds you with plenty of free time to undulge yourself with yarn
XO
Andi
Ok, first: AWESOME fun last night! You guys make me laugh! Second, LOVE the bobble socks! I'm surprised you stuck with the periwinkle...totally not your color. And third, the marigolds are awesome, and I am so glad you're keeping it for yourself! You deserve it!

Love the socks but I have to admit....I hate knitting bobbles. I avoid any and all patterns with them :).
