My little ole' blog turned three this month. What a wonderful three years it has been! Because I love to celebrate all birthdays, you know what is coming next.
Oh, hello there you lovely girls!
These two heavenly skeins of Madelintosh light and some fun gift tags will be given away this Blogiversary. The color is Jade, it was not intentional that today happens to be St. Patricks day and I am giving away green yarn. It is just a fun coincidence.
My way of saying thank you for visting with me. I never would have thought I would have met and bonded with such amazing people through a blog. Whether it is through your blogs, Flickr, or Ravelry I have enjoyed each and every interaction.
So all you need to do is leave a comment telling me what you would like to knit with this heavenly yarn, (did I mention this yarn is heavenly-it really is!). Also very important you need to leave either a link to you blog, Ravelry page or Flickr page. If the URL is your blog then you are golden. If you don't provide at least one of the links mentioned, you will not be entered for the drawing. The reason behind this is because I was sent an email from a lady who won some yarn in a giveaway and wanted to know if I would like to buy it, as she does not knit or crochet. Made me kind of sad that someone who did knit or crochet missed out on the opportunity to win the yarn.
You will need to leave a comment by midnight (PST) March 30th. Names will be entered into the random generator and announced on the 31st. I will mail anywhere in the world.
Good luck and enjoy some retro Sesame Street!
XO
Andi
Oh, Andi, what beautiful yarn! I've never used Madelinetosh yarn, but I read such wonderful things about it. I think it would make a lovely shawl or lacy cardigan. Congratulations on your blog's birthday, and thank you for the chance to win your generous birthday giveaway.

Happy blogiversary! This yarn is begging to become a Whisper/Wispy cardigan (by Hannah Fettig).

I love that color! I think I would knit a large lace shawl--but I don't have a particular one in mind. I'd also consider a light spring cardigan.
Happy blogiversary!

Happy blogiversary!
If I won, I would have a seriously tough time deciding between knitting up the Ink cardigan (after finding a few more skeins of the same colorway) or looking for a new beaded shawl pattern.

Three years!! Happy Blogiversary. Green is the colour of the year 2013, I found out recently. :-)
What to make with such yummy yarns. Oh my, I love socks, but these pretty darlings needs serious showing off. So a shawl. Big and lacy. Winter is coming here in southern hemisphere, so it would be a must. I am thinking Pea Vines by Anne Hanson. Or Haruni by Emily Ross.

Oh wow, how fun! :) Happy Blog-o-versary! Green is my favourite colour so of course that yarn is just stunning in my eyes. I think I'd knit a shawl...or maybe..actually, I'd probably wait to hold it and smell it (yes, a bit odd maybe) and squoosh it a little until I got inspiration for just the right project.

Happy blogiversary!
That yarn looks amazing! I have never had any to work with but hear it is lovely. Green is so my color, as I'm a redhead. If I won I'd make some socks and hopefully a Hitchhiker shawl. I don't know for sure, but something for me (which is rare).
Thanks for sharing yourself through your blog.

Happy blogaversary ! Love reading you, so I hope you'll blog for many more years to come :) Guess you managed to spread the sock-virus, too, hahaha...
Though if I were to win that glorious yarn, it would most definitely become a shawl - so I can show off the yarn, hihi.. ( besides, the way spring is nót kicking in here, a shawl would be a good idea anyway... )

Happy Blogiversary! I have been enjoying your blog a great deal over the last few years. I think this yarn would be perfect for a fall shawl or cowl!

I love your blog. I've enjoyed watching your knits come together.
If I win this yarn, I'd either carefully make a beautiful shawl for my office, with lots of lace, or a short sleeve cardigan to wear year round. Green is my favorite color and I've dreamt of using many beautiful MT yarns.
Keep up the great work!

i enjoy your upbeat personality, so may you have many more birthdays of all kinds. and while that yarn would make lovely socks, i am always in favor of a cowl or scarf so that you and everyone else can enjoy the luscious color. i'm fireartisans on ravelry.

Happy anniversary! I just recently found your blog and love it. That Madelinetosh looks like it should be a shawl, maybe an Ishbel or Forest Beauty.
I've been trying to get into the blog habit myself: hippychickknitter.blogspot.com
Keep up the good work!

Well, Happy BIrthday to your blog! I have just stumbled on to you and I'm psyched to have another great knitting blog to visit! As for what I'd do with that yarn....(btw, Madelinetosh is my all time favorite yarn)... my first thought would be socks...but with 2 skeins, I'd go for a shawl. A gorgeous green shawl to help me blend into the forest. My Ravelry name is pdani. I look forward to reading more of your blog!

Happy Blogiversary! I have not gotten very good at kniting, so I would love to crochet with the yarn above. It is such a beautiful green. I believe I would make a pair of socks.

Hi Andi, I had left a comment before but obviously didn't read your instructions very well. Congratulations on your blogiversary. I have admired MadelineTosh from afar for quite a while and this colour is quite beautiful. If I was lucky enough to win the wool I would probably knit a shawl. I just finished two Citrons for my mom and have my eye on Guernsey Wrap by Jared Flood and I quite like Spearmint Tea over on Ravelry.

Thanks for such a wonderful giveaway.

Happy Blogiversary!!! What a great color for that yarn - oh what to make? I must admit that if I won, I would spend much time on ravelry searching for the right pattern - dreaming of what it would become.

Happy, happy Blogoversary!
Please enter me in your lovely giveaway Andi ... I think I'd knit a Melpomene (one of Veera's lovely patterns) were I lucky enough to win :)
My comment links to my blog, but as you know I'm knitsofacto on Ravelry too :)

Happy Blogiversary! I would love to try this yarn that I have heard so much about. I would knit this hat http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/magdolna and a little something else.
