This shawl taught me so many things about perseverance. It was a lot of long rows of garter. At times I thought they would never end. The end result was so worth it, as it is with anything. I would not call the pattern boring, it was the perfect project for some much needed mindless knitting.
This week mindless knitting has been much needed with all the pain and suffering our world has been through. Whatever your craft or hobby is, I hope you are finding comfort in it.
I enjoy the video series,Fifty People/One Question. I enjoy this one in particular and ask you...Where would you like to wake up tomorrow?

Me? I would like to wake up in my dream cabin in Colorado. :)

Andi
You do such beautiful work Andi! That shawl is awesome!
As for the burning question, I'd like to wake up in a new home under blue skies and birds singing. Doesn't matter where ...

I don't have a cabin, but you're welcome to wake up in my tiny apartment in Colorado after I wake up in Boston, close to where all my friends are! :P

Gorgeous Andi, beautiful knit :)
I would like to wake up somewhere where through my open bedroom window - I'm imagining gently fluttering sheer white curtains by the way - I can hear the sea breaking on a mile of white beach. Somewhere northerly though, nowhere hot. Bliss :)

Your shawl looks really lovely and snuggly. I really like those colours together too. I honestly love some garter knitting sometimes just for the pure mindlessness of it. Relaxing and comforting, even if in the end all I do is rip it back out again.
Me... I'd love to wake up right here, snuggled up in bed with my loves and no plans for the day. Alas, there are always plans and things to do... :)

That shawl is gorgeous.
I want to wake up either in an amazing yarn shop or in a giant, personal painting studio. Both sound amazing and relaxing. :)

Very elegant Andi! It is indeed gorgeous.

I would like to wake up right where I do every day - next to my husband in our house that is filled with the love of our children and furry family members. I want for nothing because I have all I need.
Your shawl is beautiful. I love the earth tone palette you used, something I never do for I fear it would look dull but your things always look classic and sophisticated. You did a wonderful job.
