News flash, I am not a monogamous knitter. Heh, as if you guys didn't already know.
I often wonder if you guys are thinking, I wonder what happened to this project or that project. I know I sometimes do. I saw a question posted on Eskimimi's blog, asking you to decide which animal best describes your knitting style. Most days I think I am a bee, as I like to pollinate every project on the needles. While this does not lead to finished items as often as I would like, for me it is my style.
Some part of the day may find me knitting one happy stripe.
Moments later I will dipping into another project bag to work on some patterned socks. All this knitting is taking place at the same time as cruising through Ravelry for new projects. Don't get me wrong there are times when even I stop and say to myself, no more casting on. Finish something. The lovely part of that is that I have so many projects I can choose from. It is my own personal project harem. :)
A lot of knitting here and there this week. Oh and watching this great min-series on Netflix. There are not enough words to describe how much I love this show. The filming, the landscape and the characters are fanastic. You should check it out.
Hoping this week finds you knitting in your own personal style. Enjoy a song from show I mentioned and just have a great day!
XO
Andi
P.S...I have changed my name on Ravelry to make it easier to find me. My name there is now-Mysistersknitter!
Oh dear.. my crazy imagination went wild... pollinating knitting.. harem... ahhh awesome knitting projects :D

I love the description of your busy bee. So funny to try and think of which animal best describes my knitting style. I can't think of one but I know I will be pondering it for the rest of the day :).

You go with your non- monogamous knitting self! ;) Any style of knitting that makes us happiest is the style we should embrace. I always love all your beautiful WIP photos.
Have a great weekend!

Nice to visit you this morning, little bee! And see that so many lovely projects are going on! I love the little stripey socks! Have a sweet weekend!

I LOVE that you have so many projects going at once... because we get to see such a lovely variety :) No me though... I feel completely anxious and overwhelmed if I have more than just one project going at once. I have no idea why, I've been this way since the very start.
The first photo is gorgeous btw... !

a bee is a great descriptor.....I might have to align myself with my cocker, who rushes from one thing to another, too.....we're on vacation at the moment, and I'm sort of having withdrawal (and it's only day 1!!!) since I only brought along 3 projects! :) Love the beginning of the shawl---and the butterfly stitch markers (another little critter that likes to flit around!)

A bee! How perfect is that! I personally love your attitude towards knitting and find it refreshing and inspiring. I was a monogamous knitter until recently, now I'm working on two pairs of socks, two shawls and a cardigan. I feel sort of guilty working on a few at once. Reading this makes me feel better!
