Surprise, it is not Sunday. Figured I would pop in midweek and post. Look at it as my way of being unpredictable. Aren't I rowdy?
It rained for a couple hours the other day. I pulled out a favorite tea pot and pretended it was a brisk fall day in AZ. Thinking I would love to share some hot tea with friends near and far.
Following the tea was some lovely knitting and a book recommended by my mom.
I am not talented at reading and knitting at the same time. Once the knitting began I tuned into Craftlit, and listened to The Age of Innocence. Have you listened to Craftlit?
I was suprised with these early birthday gifts from my bestie Ruth. These made my day.
A sort of stopping and smelling the roses kind of post. There are times I forget how many wonderful things there are in my life. They may seem small, but each one is so incredibly important to my happiness.
Hoping you are finding glee in the small things in life this week.
This video makes me smile no matter how many times I have seen it. Enjoy and have a lovely day.
XO
Andi
Smelling the roses is incredibly important.

I read and knit ONLY when it's dead simple knitting and the book is on my ipad and I don't have to struggle with a book. My knitting is usually the sockhead hat :)

The yarn you are using looks yummy. Is it a silk blend? Possibly from Tanis Fibers?

That yarn is begging to be rubbed against my face! Aren't those rainy days just the best!

Love, love, love the ceramic tea pot. You have such wonderful taste! I've actually read "A Life in Stitches", she has a very engaging writing style. My mother is a huge fan of Henri, he's pretty darn cute!
