Absolutely relating to this post. That thing about work and bills and food and shelter sure gets in the way of a lot of good times. LOL

I have had a similarly unknitterly month...and it makes me cross. Knitting makes me calm. I need to carry on a hundred projects so I will never run out again.

You nailed it. I had 5 days off, but they were too busy to get any substantial work done on the needles. I am back in the real world, and all I can do is daydream of the clickety clack!

Yes!! I have been working all week at my new job so this weekend I am on the couch catching up on all things on needles!! and jump on over to the Kal and join in!
What is that nonsense that when we have time to knit we don't! I just stare at the TV sometimes saying to myself "pick up the needles ...go on they are right there!!!" Maybe its a disorder of some sort ;-)Emptyhanditis???

Knitting is such a calming thing. Like you, I knit on my lunch break. I too walk back to my desk (front desk receptionist--crazy phones and loud often screaming, crying, whining children around) feeling centered and able to face the rest of the afternoon!
