Happy Sunday!
~Hermione's Everyday socks. Madelinetosh sock in Magnolia Leaf~
I know I say too often, where did the month go but really where are the months going? We are in the midst of the holidays and it feels like we were just here a minute ago.
~And So Are You shawl progress. Lakes Fiber and Yarn in the colorway Peony~
Holidays come with extra days off for some of us, does that equal extra knit time for you?
~More lovely sock scraps donations for my blanket~
Maybe it means less knitting time with all the cooking and preparations.
~ Handmade stitch markers gifted from a lovely friend. Notice the Denver Broncos colors? ~
Could also be a rush of holiday gift knits. In typical Andi style I have yet to get started on my gift knitting. For reasons unknown I start my gift knitting later and later each year, despite promises to myself that I will not wait till the last minute like the previous year. Andi-Fail. :)
My goals of clearing off the needles with this KAL and making room/time for gift knitting has not happened. If anything the clearing off the needles has only resulted in more room for new projects and then some. Funny how that works, right?
Thanksgiving is a few days away! I hope that you have plenty of time for family, friends, food, and of course your knitting. While I am thankful for you all every single day of the year it only seems right to remind you this holiday. So...thank you for being in my life.
Enjoy a few fun facts about Thanksgiving!
Have the best day today!
XO,
Andi
LOLOL! You're not alone with the WIP challenge. More time for me translated into different projects and getting ready for the holidays. I'm going to make a mad dash to the finish with two of the projects just so I don't look like a slacker. LOLOL!
I'm only making two knitted gifts for Christmas and they're for kids so at least those will get done ... maybe ... LOLOL!
Happy Thanksgiving to you Andi. Thank you for making this spot such a wonderful place to come to.

No holiday knitting for me this year!
Wishing you and your family the happiest of holidays! :-)

Luckily I only have one thing to make for Christmas this year! Although it's quite a complicated crochet pattern, and I'm new to crochet... so it may take quite a while as it is :P
No thanksgiving here in the UK, so no extra days... although I remember it being such a lovely holiday when I was growing up in Canada :)
Hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving!

No holiday knitting for me this year, so I can indulge in a lot of selfish knitting right now.
I still haven't tried the Hermione's everyday socks pattern, I should! I like the yarn you are using for them.

thank you andi! I love to visit and see what you are knitting. Today I am crushing on that plate, so very pretty! I have most of my knitting done that are deemed to be gifts. So now I've switched to "me" knitting, unless I think of someone else to knit for!

I cut way back on holiday knitting this year, but am already making it all up with more holiday baking, lol! So far I've held to my promise of no more selfish knitting until all the gift knitting is done though :) I LOVE that yarn you're using for Hermione's Everyday Socks-that's one of my favorite sock patterns!

Thank you Andi for your birthday wishes!
All your wips look amazing! You could even consider offering them unfinished, they would still make an amazing decorating object don't you think? ;)
Have a lovely Thanksgiving!

I know the feeling. I am home for the week, trying to relax and refocus for the rest of my art program. But I was going through yarn this morning and found a scarf I had in hibernation that I now want to finish. On top of my sweater, another scarf, more sculptures AND a for coming secret Santa gift.....
