Andrea @ This Knitted Life

Thank you Andi for including me on your list! I am so flattered! What an honor! Happy knitting to you!

I love the poem at the end Andi, so fitting for me this year. Thank you so much for sharing all your lovely knitting, and for sharing wonderful blogs that I didn't know about. Happy New Year!

I'm starting the personal sock yarn club 2016 by knitting socks that are on needles.

Also, for 2016, I am "hoping" to knit out of stash and fish or cut bait on WIPS.

As always I love the music at the end of your posts, you have opened me to all new kinds of music! Happy and Healthy New Year!

I love that adorable duet of one of my favorite holiday songs. And the poem is lovely and inspiring. Hope that you are enjoying the holidays! Happy New Year!

Thank you for all your kindnesses this year. No knitting resolutions but one knitting goal: to knit a piece (or two) of clothing with stranded knitting. And a couple pair of socks too :-)

Happy holidays, Andi! I can't wait to see what you knit up in the new year :)

Happy New Year Andi! Thank you for all the inspiration and loveliness you have shared in 2015. May 2016 be even better and brighter!

Merry New Year and Happy Christmas! I hope your 2016 is amazing Andi! I may have to join in on that Sock Yarn KAL once the year starts - I have way too much in my stash.

Wishing you a VERY, VERY happy new year!

May you have a beautiful festive xmas and new year and sending much love all the way from Oz xoxoxo

Thank you, dear Andi, for your kind wishes and the amazing place you created here! I love to come here for inspiration, for finding new friends and for your always kind and encouraging words! I feel so honored to be in your December loves - it's a good place to be in :) Happy New Year! See you in 2016!!!

Happy New Year! I'm looking forward to seeing what's waiting for you in all those bags :) I need to knit through some of my sock yarn stash too!

Happy New Years Andi! I love your bags of yumminess--especially the little blue and red one! I am thinking of joining your group on Ravelry for the sock yarn club. I say it every year, but maybe it will happen this time, 2016 is the year of the sock for me!

Wow! Wow! The links are the best! I always appreciate your time and effort to find these blogs for us. My favorite is the Out of the Thistle creations. I'm like you; I want them all!

I love the song and the little poem. It reminds me of this one that I adore:

John O'Donohue

On the day when
The weight deadens
On your shoulders
And you stumble,
May the clay dance
To balance you.

And when your eyes
Freeze behind
The grey window
And the ghost of loss
Gets into you,
May a flock of colours,
Indigo, red, green
And azure blue,
Come to awaken in you
A meadow of delight.

When the canvas frays
In the currach of thought
And a stain of ocean
Blackens beneath you,
May there come across the waters
A path of yellow moonlight
To bring you safely home.

May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
May the clarity of light be yours,
May the fluency of the ocean be yours,
May the protection of the ancestors be yours.

And so may a slow
Wind work these words
Of love around you,
An invisible cloak
To mind your life.

“A New Year Blessing”
Benedictus (To Bless The Space Between Us)
Currach is a type of canoe.

Happy New Year!

Happy New year to YOU!

Once again, a wonderful list! I'm now busy savoring all the different links and finding new inspiration in each.

I can't believe it's already the last gasp of 2015! I loved your last round up, you find such great treasures from around the blogosphere. And I'm so touched that my new little bundle of joy made the list! Happy New Year, Andi!

merry Christmas and a happy new year sweet Andi! thanks for the podcast recommendation. I'll be checking it out :) May 2016 hold even more knitting for you :)

Happy New Year to you. I have been contemplating sock knitting in 2016. Looking forward to a new KAL!

Have a happy new year Andi! I hope this season has been wonderful to you :) I fell way behind in blogs and ravelry the last few months. I'll definitely make sure I take part in the year long KAL though, I can't wait!

Happy knitting in 2016.
Cheers, Anita.

A very happy new year to you, Andi.
I was glad to see that I was not the only one who appreciated the Ten Knitting Lessons post. I thought that was a top-notch post!
Lovely last song of the year!

Happy New Year my sweet friend! I hope 2016 is a wonderful year for you. I can't wait to follow along with your creative adventures :)

It so hard to keep up with all my blogs already and then your monthly loves always add so many to my list that i need to visit!
As usual amazing sights!

Fuego Azul

Happy New Year to you! I may not always comment, but I love visiting your blog for inspiration & pure knitting joy. :)

As for my New Year knitting resolution: SHAWLS!!
I keep collecting beautiful shawl patterns - starting a few only to have to frog them for various reasons - & telling myself that I will make this one or that one later. Nope. This year (aside from gifts) I'm knitting (& crocheting) shawls! And I am FINALLY going to make my own Haruni shawl with that lovely locally made sock yarn dyed in those gorgeous Autumn hues that I bought 2 years ago specifically for that pattern...we'll see what happens, lol.
