Happy Sunday loves!
Perfect way to start an afternoon...tea or in this case infusion. :) How did your Sunday start? Hopefully will all the things you love and then some.
I have been squeezing in the knitting wherever I can find a spare moment. In the above case in between breakfast bites. Bonus they say you should not eat too fast and take a moment in between bites, right?
Then we can't forgot about the fact that Fall has me casting on all the things. During the Summer I had sort tried the whole monogamy thing...well that is in the dust. Move over monogamy and welcome gluttony knitting. Didn't help that while visiting the stash I found this beautiful Autumn colored yarn buried deep in the stash and that it begged me to knit it up.
"Older" knits (started a couple months ago), are still getting some love. Because sometimes you just need some stockinette stitch while binge watching The Gilmore Girls.
How is your Autumn going so far? Did you go to Rhinebeck? Each year I say I am going to go and so far have been unable. Fingers crossed next year is the year. Sorry for the short post but for some reason the weekend got away from me and I need to get things done today. Things included replying to last weeks comments. My apologies as I am still playing catch up from the time lack of computer access a couple weeks ago.
I will leave you with a video of a dog who loves Autumn leaves as much as many of us. Have the best day today!
XO,
Andi
Oh my, that dog is adorable, as is the autumn coloured sock yarn!

Happy fall Sunday. I managed to cast off a project last night, so now I only have three on my needles. So much for monogamy here also!
Always knit between bites! Yes!

I adore, adore, adore the colour of that autumn cake of yarn. It's a combination of my two favourites: earthy and rich jewel tones.
I'm still slogging away on that autumn coloured lace scarf. Ugh. I'm disliking it so much that I went 2 days without knitting but have picked it up again to get it done and over with so I can move on to something I actually DO want to knit!
I see I'm not wise as to what to pick for KAL. I see nearly everyone is doing the quick knits such as hats and cowls. I never thought of doing multiple quick knits! But now I know better in case I join in on another KAL :-D
I love seeing the lovely socks you knit. That's actually something I am going to do once I get this darn lace scarf off the needles. I'm going to start with a vanilla sock and then I'm anxious to try the lovely Wildflowers pattern with one of my springy coloured yarns ;-)
Have a lovely week of knitting. It's always such a pleasure stopping in here.

Stella makes me smile! There's a dog who lives with joy!
I try monogamy from time to time. Doesn't work for me at all!
It has been a very busy weekend, and tonight is the Jewish Holiday of Sukkot, so I have one more event before I settle down for some bedtime knitting!

Is that second sock Christmas Cactus by Frolicking Feet? I made socks from that color and they look very similar!
Happy fall knitting . . . 'tis the season!

Even short posts are a joy to read. And, I did have the opportunity to go to Rhinebeck with a knitting friend. I hope you will soon have a chance to visit. The Hudson Valley is lovely in the fall.

This year was supposed to be the year I was going to go to Rhinebeck, but health kept me from it. I'm making up for it by knitting away on my own stockinette sock. I haven't watched Gilmore Girls, but maybe I'll need to make the my next show to knit by. We just finished up watching Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrel. Turns out that is a terrible show to knit to... it is far too interesting! We loved it.

I made it to my first Rhinebeck and it was wonderful. Beautiful weather, beautiful yarns, great food. Hope you get the experience next year. We did a tour and it was great not having to worry about a thing.

Your pictures always inspire. I have been puttering about with yarn lately - a bit of knitting, some switching, and then some un-knitting with ideas for a new project. All very good indeed.

Ooooh. That yarn is the perfect match for the woods we hiked through on Saturday. It's perfect fall weather here right now — it never seems to last long enough, but we sure love it while it does.

Loving all your autumn knits! The whole monogamous knitting went out the door for me too as soon as autumn arrived. Now I'm balancing several WIPs plus resisting the urge to cast on more on a daily basis.

So many pretty WIPs! It's Tuesday now, but I'm catching up on blog reading while eating a leisurely breakfast (and knitting a giant shawl between bites!) Going to be starting work a bit late today ... oops! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your weekend :D

love your fallish sock :) those are my kind of colors. I did not go to rhinebeck, I chicken out every year because I'm not a fan of huge crowds. But I would love to go one day. Right? Hope you are all caught up with your chores and such,.

Both socks being knitted are of lovely color!! That tea pot looks beautiful! Ohh I love tea pots! Adorable dog in that video! Do you have a dog? My husband is thinking about getting a dog. We have two cats. (I am a bit sad since daughter just left today after spending a month vacation with us.) :( Have a wonderful week Andi!

What is the purpose of the item that is snapped on top of your blue sock? I've never seen such a thing, and am curious!

That autumn colored sock yarn is gorgeous!! Glad you found it and put it to good use! Have a great rest of the week!

Your such a great knitter I thought I would ask you this question. I recently bought some new wool. It was from a 2nd hand shop. It is 100% wool. I just could leave it behind. It is just a lovely maroon colour and a good price too. The only thing is, it smells a wee bit musty. I think it might have been in somebodies roof space for a good long time. Have you any ideas in getting the smell out. I don't want to have to wash it.
Thanks
Lily from Northern Ireland

I look forward to reading your blog every Sunday. Your socks are such an inspiration. I, too, am a sock knitter but not to the extent you are. Love the autumn socks. Do you have the name of the yarn/dyer/colorway?

I've been binge watching Gilmore Girls, also. Excited for the new episodes coming in November! Love the autumn socks on the needles. It finally turned cold enough to wear a sweater this week. Yay!

Fall is busy busy busy! But I'm actually enjoying seeing the sunrise at work, or on the way. It has been a fall of changes, but Christmas knitting is going better than I thought. (Either that or I'm delusional)
