The shawl and socks are looking great. I love the colors you chose! thanks for sharing the links! have a good week :)

Wow! Congrats to Vera!

While all of your projects are beautiful, may I just say I love how you style your photos. Just lovely!

Happy September! I'm so excited that Autumn is here. I hope you are enjoying your knits, whether they are long term WIPs or fresh cast-ons - it looks like you have some beautiful projects to enjoy. Thank you for the links to blogland, I will take a visit now!

And, your socks are so pretty, and thanks for some new introductions from your monthly loves.

A great post Andi, enjoyed it.Have a good week.

so many goodies here.....and new people to meet!!! thanks also for the 'shout-out'!!! you are so right...how can socks go so quickly, and shawls....well, they simply don't. I don't get it either. another of life's mysteries!!!

Thank you so much for sharing! I have discovered a few new blogs I LOVE and so many lovely sock patterns in the process. Also loving that song - I just looked him up on iTunes.

I agree - socks seem to fly off my needles, yet shawls and other items go soooo slllloooowwww. Why is that? Maybe it's the needle size, or desire to just wear those socks RIGHT NOW.

Have a great week Andi!

What a beauty and inspiring group of August loves Andi! I especially appreciated the inspiring story from The Cottage Nest. BTW I'm also working on a fade shawl that is taking me forever!!! Here's hoping for some cooler days ahead for both of us.

congrats to the winner (yay!). I've caught the fall knitting bug and want to knit everything I see. So when I blog hop around from your links....I'll be wishing for more cast ons. Your knitting is inspirational and beautiful.

Such a lovely list of loves, as always :) I've cut way back on sock knitting the past couple of years, as it bothers my left hand, but I do miss seeing new socks come off the needles. I need to get better about scheduling some sock time in my weeks!

SO many pretty knits on the needles, and I agree that September is the perfect time to cast on fro something new. What a wonderful link round up, I always enjoy exploring your discoveries- and how thrilled to be part of the list! :)

1. Someone who understands and can articulate my love of sock knitting.

2. And when I think I've seen every knitting blog out there, you come up with a new list for me.

3. Good music.

4. Great tea selection.

5. My fav blog by far.

We must be sock-soul sisters, I feel the same. A pair of socks will be knit in no time but shawls seem to take forever. And yes, 90% of time I am sitting around with a sock wip in my hands :)
