Happy Sunday loves!
Pattern~ Ohra Yarn~ See Raverly page details.
Isn't it amazing how much knitting one can accomplish when one unplugs for a day? As I mentioned last week I needed a day to reboot myself. I had felt like I had been playing catch up since October and I needed a day to just "be". Mission accomplished and I once again feel on track. It was nice reading about how I am not alone in my occasional need for recharge.
Pattern~ Simple Skyp socks Yarn~ Cosy Posy Yarn Co. in the color Pocket Full of Posies.
Many hours of an audio book happened, in addition to reading a physical book. Do you know that somehow the day felt longer? This seems entirely possible as there have been many times when I have been cruising Raverly or blog reading and before knowing it, a couple of hours have gone by.
This has me thinking I am right on track with this partial unplug Sundays. :) Enough about all my blissful "me time", as I know for many with kids and such that is nearly impossible. If I could, I would send you an extra couple hours to the day.
Now will you take a look at this lovely package that my friend Lynn sent me? Out of the blue and just because. Truly yarnies are the most generous and amazing people. Lynn, if you read this...you have a wonderful heart and thank you many times over.
I am going to get on with my Sunday. Hope today provides you with endless hours of knitting and the things you love.
Have the best day today!
XO,
Andi

That is great you felt that you had more time to just enjoy the things you love and recharge. I think spending time on the computer and other technology does make time go by faster, but like you said it is nice when time slows down and you spend more time doing things like reading and knitting. Loved the video it was funny! I am a knitter :P

I have to say, that the video is the best! I have seen it before and forwarded it many times. It's great!

LOL! My name is Tanna, and I'm a knitter. LOL! Cute video! Glad you recharged with an unplug. I find I NEED an unplug day or two. I worry about my grandchildren who seem to always be "plugged" to something unless they are forced to put it down (which fortunately, their parents do). Here's to a wonderful week for you! blessings ~ tanna

Oooh, what have you been reading, both audio and paper version? I'm always on the hunt for good books, although I never feel like I have enough time to do all the reading I'd like to do. And is there any better sock pattern than the simple Skyp socks? Love those!

I am going to try to make Partial Unplug Sundays part of my routine now too. Thanks as always for the inspiration! Seeing your simple skyp socks reminded me of how much I love that pattern, especially in that beautiful shade of pink. And your shawl is looking absolutely gorgeous. Hope that you are having a wonderful week :)
