Lovely plan for someone so terribly effected by the fire.

My fall back sock pattern is Vanilla Latte - with two minor adjustments - stitch count to fit my foot and centering the broken rib over the top of the foot. Knitters are just the best people. They help out total strangers and friends alike.

Thank you for the links to help...the images from all the fires in California are heartbreaking.

Hermione's Everyday Socks, Simple Skyp Socks and Mistletoe Kisses Socks are some of my favorite go-to patterns lately. But it's constantly changing.

that looks like a mini schnauzer to me - Frodo says hi! I've been knee deep in Gift Cowl knitting and it makes me so happy!

So kind of you to help out HookersCorner. Those fires have been so devastating.

You asked about go-to sock patterns, and I have two: Cookie A's Monkey Socks and Linda Welch's Crow's Feet. I've knit both patterns multiple times. A new favorite is my friend Kate's Ripple Wave Socks.
